The Sword of the Government?

Sword of the LordI wanted to simply share the following quote from a friend's blog.  This was part of a response to a Slate Magazine article dealing with the murder of Dr. George Tiller.  If we were to have true justice in this country, Dr. Tiller would have had to face a jury of his peers for each "murder."  Of course we have an incredibly tyrannical system in which the innocent are proven guilty.  Yet, we (I speak from a Christian/Constitutionist viewpoint) ought not take the law in our own hands, as the killer of Tiller did.

In the category of "History Always Repeats Itself," comes this cartoon that orignally appeared in the Chicago Tribune in 2008.  Did I actually say 2008?  Wrong!  It came out in 1934, in the early days of the Great Depression.  Just as the Great Depression was really the "Great Deception," so is today's economic crisis!
