Emergency powers plan advances through House, Senate

A gun on its own has never killed anyone, it is merely the instrument of choice for the killer. People have been killing people long before the invention of guns. Gun control advocates play on the fear of people, and attempt to demonize our right to protect ourselves and our loved ones, not just from the typical burglar or street thug, but most importantly from a tyrannical government who would try to disarm you, as is our present situation. Our current administration detests the 2nd Amendment right of Americans. Current Vice President and former U.S. Senator, Joseph Bidden made the following comment to the associated press on 11/18/93; "Banning guns is an idea whose time has come." American Patriot, Military General, and First President of this Once Great Republic, George Washington once said; "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. To secure peace, securely and happiness, the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that is good." There is no ambiguity about the 2nd Amendment; "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." So, someone tell me what in the world Bidden is talking about in the aforementioned quote? When will the people of this country WAKE UP and defend themselves against these evil criminals in Washington that seek to deprive us of our God given Liberty, and our God given right to Self defense? Soon I hope...or we will one day find ourselves throwing stones at SWAT teams armed with Semi Automatic military grade weapons acting on orders to imprison us!
